Chef Mike Kueppers

I have always used seasoning blends made from the finest herbs and spices on my chefs line.  This adds to the speed of cooking and ensures a consistent flavor profile.

The “Atomic Chef” nom de plume came from a book titled “the creators” written by Daniel Boorstein.  He writes about many of the heros of the imagination. Including Dante Aligeri, Michelangelo, Mattisse, and other world famous authors ,musicians, sculptors,and artists. An author featured in this book was Peter Livingstone who was dubbed the Atomic Historian because of his style of writing history based on a micro humanist version of events.  I felt I also did my cooking and lecturing on cooking as a very personal vibe and lassoed the moniker.

So now I had a title and the best spice blends in the world.  Created from the heart after much heartache to get them just right.

At our Restaurant guests would inquire about the blends and at first I would gladly pass them out.  Cooking is a science of sharing.

Then working with a great spice  man “John Otteson we started our little company.  The labels we started with were “retro in look” which I thought were pretty cool. But as we moved the company along I realized a “new look ” would serve us well.

Rachel Deunow created this new  look and we are very proud of our new labels.  People might think that labels are not important but they offer a glimpse of the greatness within.

And these blends are great.  They are manufactured in a state of the art FDA registered facility located near Morton, MN.  They are hand packed by members of the Lower Sioux Tribe with precision. And we are proud and thankful to have this group as partners in this venture.
